P E G A es una exposición de una noche con obras de Isa Carrillo, Adélaïde Feriot y Céline Mathieu en Homesession, Barcelona. Durante el evento se presentarán una serie de tableaux vivants de la artista Adélaïde Feriot.
P E G A une la obra divergente de estas tres artistas a través de los números: el interés de Isa Carrillo para la numerología, el trabajo en vivo de Adélaïde Feriot que traduce paisajes hablados y las esculturas fluidas de Céline Mathieu.

En la búsqueda de crear imágenes con fenómenos táctiles y temporales, Adelaïde Feriot se adentra en la creación de tableux vivants.Estas imágenes vivas juegan con las nociones de tiempo y percepción.
Su trabajo ha sido presentado en Artissima Lido en Turín, FRAC Lorraine en Metz, CAC Parc Saint-Léger, Centro Pompidou en París, Bienal de Arte Contemporáneo en Lyon, CIAP isla de Vassivière, Galería Samy Abraham en París, Tabacalera en Madrid, Maison des arts de Laval en Quebec y el museo de arte CAFA en Pekín.

La producción artística de Isa Carrillo está profundamente influenciada por las nociones de misticismo. Basada en la exploración de la grafología, la quiromancia, la astrología, la numerología, el uso del péndulo y los oráculos como el I-ching, que ella utiliza como herramientas, su trabajo propone otras formas de expresar experiencias.
Su obra ha sido exhibida en el Museo Diego Rivera Anahuacalli en la Ciudad de México, Museo de Pintores en Oaxaca, Museo de Arte Zapopan (MAZ), Museo de la Ciudad de Guadalajara, Foro de Arte y Cultura, Ex Convento del Carmen, Centro Cultural Moderno de Arte, Sala Juárez, Centro TRAMA y el Museo-Estudio Clemente Orozc.

Céline Mathieu. Amberes, Bélgica, 1989
Céline Mathieu trabaja con el entrelazamiento de la mente y la materia. Su trabajo investiga mentes, seres y artefactos del siglo XXI. Principalmente toma la forma de prosa, objetos, ensayos y performances.
Su trabajo se ha mostrado en Extra City Kunsthal Antwerpen (2018) y con CMMC en la galería Trampoline, Poppositions Bruselas, Rotterdam Wo Meine Sonne Scheint, Hamburg P / ART y Manchester Castlefield Gallery. Su primera exposición individual tuvo lugar en AIR Antwerp. Con el diseñador Christophe Clarijs, ella colabora como ‘Fellow Beings’ en el diseño editorial de Tubelight y en publicaciones para escritores residentes en Van Eyck.

P E G A is a one-night exhibition with works by Isa Carrillo , Adélaïde Feriot and Céline Mathieu at Homesession Barcelona. There will be a series of tableaux vivants by Adélaïde Feriot throughout the opening.
Linked by numbers through Isa Carrillo’s eye for numerology, Adélaïde Feriot’s play on live translated spoken landscapes and Céline Mathieu’s fluid sculptures, P E G A glues together the diverging work of three artists.

Searching to make images with tactile and temporal phenomena, Adelaïde Feroit notions of makes tableaux vivants. These living images play on notions of time and perception.

Céline Mathieu works with the entanglement of mind and matter. Her work investigates minds, selves and 21st century artefacts. It mainly takes the shape of prose, objects, essays and performances.
Her work has been shown at Extra City Kunsthal Antwerpen (2018), and performed with CMMC at Trampoline gallery, Poppositions Brussels, Rotterdam Wo Meine Sonne Scheint, Hamburg P/ART and Manchester Castlefield Gallery. Her first solo exhibition took place at AIR Antwerp. With designer Christophe Clarijs she collaborates as ‘Fellow Beings’ on the editorial design of Tubelight, and publications for the writers-in-residence at Van Eyck.

Eclipse. Adélaïde Feriot

Within the framework of Loop Barcelona festival and the Homesession Exchange Residency program with art3 (Valence, France). 

Homesession presents the work of the French artist Adélaïde Feriot (Libourne, 1985) whose work includes video, sculpture, installation and performance.
The ECLIPSE exhibition presents the homonymous video as well as new works made by the artist during her residency in Barcelona.
The opening will feature a talk by the artist.

Adélaïde Feriot has presented his work in France (Biennale d’art contemporain de Lyon, Center Pompidou, FRAC Lorraine and FRAC Bretagne), Cina (CAFA Art Museum – Beijing), Germany (Galerie J2System, Berlin), Italy (Artissima, Torino) Spain (ARCO, Tabacalera- Madrid) and other countries.

veeeky, next artist in residence at Homesession during September-October 2018 

Born in Kaohsiung and raised in Taipei (Taiwan), currently lives and works in Beijing (China).  veeeky (Wei – Chia  Wu) started from the cofounder of Bounce Girlz, a group focusing on music event and content in Taiwan, Taipei, when she was in National Taiwan University studying sociology. After spending time digging into visual communication in Goldsmiths College, London, she had more chances to explore new sounds and further established her own way of selection of music and creating visual art. Her approach of synchronizing and sampling sound with visual is limitless, experimenting sounds consisting of surprising content. She is now taking care of the visual in a creative music label Do Hits, making cover arts/live visual/graphics. Do Hits is known for Asian digital sound and art.

veeeky’s visual is based on the thinking of contemporary society, discussing internet/gender/information/channels/globalization-local content, often presenting it in high saturation utopia videos.
