Think globally, act locally is a term that was popularized in the early 70’s to promote horizontal organization of local communities, especially in relation to new ecological movements. However, from the 80’s and 90’s, some multinational companies used the slogan as an economic model for corporate expansion. The work to be presented at Homesession consists of an installation of drawings and sculptures with a performance of a series of monologues that deal with boredom, ambition, heartbreak, and perseverance through adversity.
