"My projects are developed through diverse investigation techniques and depend on the
participation of the spectator as well as different cultural agents from the art sector. With
a great interest in the study of specific contexts and what happens around them, I under-
stand the framework of my artistic practice as the production of Art and the circumstances
and methodologies that this entails, as well as the way in which the work is received and the
conditions in which it is exhibited to the spectator.
Recently I have centered the focus of my work on an exhaustive examination of art contexts
using oral language—conversations, interviews...—and other procedures that appear
closer to sociological methodologies that pertain to other disciplines; without forgetting,
of course, the creative and post-productive capacities of art. My practice responds more to
“gathering in order to present” rather than “elaborating new terms of reference”, due to the
fact that I try to look for mechanisms that make codes, lines, behaviors and/or deviations
from the territory in question visible. I conceive of the projection of work as a critical exercise
in itself, without the need to impose on it any language or subjective discourse that is not
an original part of the work (as is so often demanded by the market or many of the other
structures of the art world).
The result of such investigations can be manifest in a video, a publication, in interventions
and installations or even in the production of edible elements, which independently or
collectively articulate a practical and/or theoretical scene to present/represent—within
the micro political and collaborationist gesture—the process of the investigation from
concrete perspectives. It is worth noting that given the ephemeral character, fragility, finite
temporality and scarce materialisation that characterise the formats of my projects, my
work additionally questions the art work as “product” and the boundaries of the language
of Art.."
